The breakfast was great and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We felt very welcome.

The air-conditioned rooms were very much appreciated in the heat. We arrived on their ruhetag. With the restaurant closed we asked if we could picnic in the Weingut courtyard. They went the extra mile and set us a lovely table. We bought an excellent wine from them that paired beautifully with salad. Fruit and sandwiches enjoyed under the shade of wine grape leaves. We slept very well, appreciative of comfortable beds and clean rooms. Such a wonderful ambiance for happiness. Thank you.

All units will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. Hotel description is not addressing this hotel correctly. We were actually in between the two hotels and luckily we booked this one. It is just great. You can have their own products from the fridge which btw are amazing. People who are part of the hotel family are really great people. Super clean and comfortable hotel. Would recommend 100%, especially if you like wine. If you don't like the alcohol, there is fresh grape juice and some sparkling drinks they make.

We liked very much --- the room, the bathroom, the owners, the place. The hotel is a litlle bit far from Freudesntadt, but OK, the location is very interesting. We didn't have breakfast.

What a treat to enjoy this historic place, so beautifully as well as comfortably updated into a small hotel. All the details are just right - rooms, furnishings, bathrooms. Lovely spacious common area & well stocked kitchen. We WILL be back!
