We went to the restaurant next door to check in and collected our key. The manager was very polite and helpful. Although the restaurant was full he found a table for us for dinner. It was very good. We enjoyed the room also. It was helpful to have read earlier reviews that there was no lift. It was no problem for us.

Family was 2 adult couples. The air-conditioned rooms were very much appreciated in the heat. We arrived on their ruhetag. With the restaurant closed we asked if we could picnic in the Weingut courtyard. They went the extra mile and set us a lovely table. We bought an excellent wine from them that paired beautifully with salad. Fruit and sandwiches enjoyed under the shade of wine grape leaves. We slept very well, appreciative of comfortable beds and clean rooms. Such a wonderful ambiance for happiness. Thank you.

Hotel description is not addressing this hotel correctly. We were actually in between the two hotels and luckily we booked this one. It is just great. You can have their own products from the fridge which btw are amazing. People who are part of the hotel family are really great people. Super clean and comfortable hotel. Would recommend 100%, especially if you like wine. If you don't like the alcohol, there is fresh grape juice and some sparkling drinks they make.

This traditional family run country inn exists since 1810. Landgasthaus Sonne offers a large sun terrace and great views of the Stockerbachtal Valley. The owners and staff were so warm and welcoming. The place has had a recent renovation with no expense spared. The retro bowling ally was so fun. The restaurant was very good and we loved our stay at Sonne Guesthouse.

We had a beautiful big room with a spacious bathroom. The building is in a quiet area close to the wineyards and the forest to go for a walk. Weisenheim has plenty of restaurants to chose from. Our landlady was very friendly and provided us with an outstanding breakfast.
