On the border of Kent and East Sussex, The Queen’s Inn in Hawkhurst offers luxurious rooms alongside its high-quality restaurant and bar. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Beautiful inn with historical character. Very comfortable rooms and beds with modern bathrooms. Spotlessly clean. Adequate free parking in the lot outside. Very nice small touches like a small thermos of fresh milk left outside the door every morning for tea. Absolutely outstanding fully cooked breakfast supplemented with Continental breakfast items as well. An additional plus was the absolutely delicious evening meals available in the Restaurant/Pub located downstairs. The chef running the kitchen is clearly very talented. The Queen's Inn surpassed our expectations on all counts, and we would highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

An inn since the 15th century, this beautiful property offers boutique rooms and modern stable rooms with free Wi-Fi, just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. The house is full of character and charm, with a warm, homely atmosphere that made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring Canterbury.
