The hotel had opened on the day i stayed! The staff were amazing and so accomodating. Staying in a brand new room felt fun and if there were any issues (just due to it being just opened), the staff were sure to sort them out immediately! I felt like the most special guest in the hotel and this was appreciated.

This really is a very special hotel. You feel like you've stepped into another world. We saw some of the rooms and each of them is designed in a different style, always very appealing. There are numerous surprises, from the golden entrance door to the golden toilet bowl . Right next door is the seemingly endless antique store of the owner, who showed us his best pieces during a personal tour. We should also mention the beautiful restaurant right on the water and the very friendly staff. Martin is a treasure who greeted us every day with a smile and fulfilled every wish. Very very spacious and super nicely decorated room ( the ceiling, the lights, furniture), very complete and with the heritage feel. Very friendly owners who provided tips where to go ( we loved the Kerala museum, which provided nice overview of history) and the Mattancherry palace with Dutch maps from 1670. We also enjoyed the Kerala breakfast at Kowdi and the packed breakfast for our train journey 😍

It was amazing clean property with lots of facilities. Very comfortable bed, AC in the room, possibility to inform stuff if you don’t want any visitors just with few click on the display. Very quite place and welcoming stuff!

Very nice host and really clean. The host can arrange a tuktuk driver that shows you around town for not a lot of money. Very high value for money, would definetely recommend.
