It was newly renovated, at a short distance from the old town and waterfront. Amazing decor, rooms were stunning. Great attention to every detail and no expense spared for all the facilities. The gym was superb as well. The views from the property were spectacular. The staff was totally amazing- took great care of us in every way. Including packed breakfast when we had to go out early. The chef has an amazing hand from the fruit platters to the brilliantly presented breakfasts we had. Thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay. Hope to go back.

This was a lovely apartment in a quiet residential area, between the old town and the port/bus station. We chose it because we were on our way up the coast having already spent 4 nights in the old town itself on the way down - so we were happy to be a little out of town where we could relax by the pool and enjoy a more peaceful time than our first stay. The apartment was perfect for this - it was very clean and comfortable and the pool and bar area was delightful - it was theoretically shared but practice we had it to ourselves. Luigi, our host, was very helpful - he cheerfully accommodated our later-than-planned arrival, and was happy for us to stay on and use the pool (with changing facilities) after we'd checked out, which allowed us to enjoy our last few hours in Dubrovnik. For dinner we strolled down to the old town (c15-20 minutes downhill), then caught the bus back when we were feeling lazy later! It was also easily accessible from the port - we caught the bus for 2 euros each, but a taxi would have been 4-5 euros (as opposed to the 20 euros from port to old town on first visit) - and we chose to walk back the next day, though bus/taxi would have been easy. All in all it was ideal for us, and we were just sorry not to have been able to spend longer there to enjoy it properly.
