There should be a different category for hotels like this: a destination hotel :-) Of course we were road tripping across Iceland, so we never stayed anywhere more than 1 night, but if we had, it would have been here: wow! The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional, you can see that they enjoy working there. The food was great, the breakfast was wonderful, the lobby is fabulous, the bar and lounge were superb. The entire design and setup of the hotel is just perfect. We had a great room with glacier (lake) view. And don't get me started on the two outdoor hot tubs and the outdoor sauna: we enjoyed it until 22:00 hrs (thank you) after a long drive, and we enjoyed the next morning at 7 AM as well. WOW!

Hosts were amazing and had 2 very friendly and playful dogs. Close to a glacier which we managed to have to ourselves after a morning hot tub. Heating and hot water in the cabin was great. Beds very comfy.
