Great location for us, friendly and helpful staff. The complimentary welcome drink was lovely. Had a morning swim in the heated pool. The breakfast was amazing. Had a huge selection of food.

Some units include an equipped kitchenette, which includes a dishwasher. The living room has a seating area with a sofa bed. Some suites have an outdoor screened porch with loungers. A gem! The room and all other facilities were great, and the staff were simply amazing. Hope to come again!

The hotel was amazing✨ The room was clean, comfortable and full of necessary things🙏🏻 The hotel’s location is so convenient, it’s the center of Barcelos, so it was so cool for us✨ And breakfast was super tasty, we were so glad to stay in that place🥰

Property is amazing and the apartments are big and really comfortable. The kitchen has all the tools you need and more, this was the biggest and best surprise as we love to cook. Everything was extremely clean and smelled incredibly. There’s parking inside the property.

Staying at Solar de Vila Meã was a beautiful experience from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the setting — it’s absolutely stunning. Surrounded by vineyards and peaceful countryside, the entire property feels like a hidden retreat. Every view, whether from the room, the pool, or the garden, looked like a painting. There’s a real sense of calm and space here that’s hard to describe but easy to fall in love with. The restaurant, Barro, completely exceeded expectations. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve, which made the whole experience even more special. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty with exceptional food and a sense of quiet luxury, I couldn’t recommend Solar de Vila Meã more highly.

It is a true paradise. The location is ideal and the owners are so sweet. They’ve thought of absolutely everything. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough.
