Wi-Fi is free. It was our first visit to Uruguay and the staff on reception were so kind and helpful. They patiently and with smiles assisted in any request we had. Hotel has an excellent location near the river in the vicinity of the shopping center and some good restaurants. The room was spacious with a view on the river. Breakfast was good, as well.

The staff was perhaps the friendliest I’ve ever encountered in a hotel (where I have spent much of my time due to work). The hotel has true charm, the breakfast was top (not something I usually am paying too much attention to but it stood out how artfully they served my scrambled eggs!). The furnishings is not modern or new but it is part of the style and fits 100%. Bathroom facilities and library also top. I loved my one night here.

The spa area including a small warm pool and two saunas is also nice. Even though one sauna did not work during our stay. The room is fine and wifi worked well. Breakfast was all right.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom clean (plus a large tree out the room window offering privacy and greenery). The shower had warm water and nice water pressure too. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast offered sweet and savoury foods as well as a good choice of beverages hot and cold.

Contemporary cuisine is Gaspar restaurant´s speciality. The hotel is a bit further from the city center, but is located in a gated community which is great for security and had beautiful grounds. A relaxing place to arrive after a busy day in the city. They offer also bikes so you can use it and enjoy the lovely property. They offer also internal heated pool which is great for colder days. Easy access to the road.
