There are two markets and a gas station very close by for all your basic needs. Also there was a great bar and restaurant called moyas and a german bakery that was fantastic. House had just enough things to be able to cook for our family of 7. It's about a 45-60 min drive to arenal national park and la fortuna. Showers were hot and house had all our basic needs.

We had such a great stay, we even extended it for one more day. It‘s a great property to stay in, very quiet with just nature around. The club house offers a lot of on top activities, such as table tennis, billiards, on some mornings you can even find a breakfast service. You can also book a massage (I recommend). The pool is absolutely fantastic! The hosts made us feel very welcome. They furnished the house with very much love and with best quality equipment (we have not experienced anywhere else in Costa Rica). Pie In The Sky 3, Stunning Lake Volcano Views!, a property with a spa and wellness centre, is set in El Fosforo, 16 km from Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, 20 km from Kalambu Hot Springs, as well... A wonderful place! ... Really "in the sky", all around only nature, no view of houses. Very good for birdwatching, toucans come by daily and hummingbirds are everywhere. There is an observation platform. You can see the volcano and Lake Arenal from everywhere on the property and the many armchairs grouped around the house. The people from the agency are very friendly and helpful. We missed some things in the kitchen and bedside lamps, everything was done immediately. You have to know that there are three units on the property. In addition to the large house with four bedrooms (which we rented), there is a (very) small unit in a kind of garden house for 2 people and another house with 2 bedrooms.

One of the best places I’ve ever visited. Perfect for a small family. Erica was a really kind and helpful host.

New, Hilltop Bungalow 1 W- Spectacular Volcano View is located in El Fosforo, 16 km from Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, 19 km from Kalambu Hot Springs, and 32 km from Venado Caves. The studio was really well equipped and comfortable. The welcome center staff were so helpful and gave us lots of ideas for our stay, there is a really handy book of activities in the studio to check out as well. It was very rainy and hazy when we were there so the volcano was covered but we did see part of it on the last day! beautiful either way. the distance from the studio to our activities in La Fortuna was not bad, about half an hour drive

The view is amazing. We were waisted because everything we saw during the hikes couldn’t compete with our place. And lot’s of Kolibri’s and butterflies in the garden.
