The staff were excellent and very welcoming and with positive attitude. Very helpful. You get the feeling they really enjoy working there. The property is clean and elegant with courtyards and beautiful art, the pool is stunning, the gym is in a beautiful space also. The museums and Parliament House are all a walk away, a bunch of beautiful restaurants and cafes on the water.

    You need a little more than two hours to explore the entire grounds as there is a lot to explore and see! The tour we booked was great as our guide gave further information on the building and history as well - well worth booking ok

    Very interesting.

    Very interesting. One tip: make sure you are dressed properly under your jacket because I was not and flashed everyone around me when security insisted I take off my hoodie, mortifying my daughter but delighting the public.

    Great location, easy walking distance to great local supermarket, cafes, restaurants. Well located to visit galleries, Parliament House and Lake Burleigh Griffin. Staff were friendly, polite and quick to help with requests. Rooms were very spacious. Choice of air conditioning or natural ventilation (screened windows that open)

    It was a budget overnight stay that accommodated a family of 5 in the one room. There was a fridge, kettle and toaster which was enough for a quick breakfast. The check-in/out was easy and the concierge was fantastic and gave great advice on what to visit in a short time. Location is ok and 5-10mins from Parliament House.

    The hotel has great charm and history with all the modern inclusions. The location is perfect, close to the Old Parliament House, the Kingstone foreshore and just across the lake to Floriade. All sites we planned to visit.

    Dog friendly heritage building . Love the building and the history and the best part was my dog had a big outdoor run to herself and was so comfy sleeping with us . Definitely helps an anxious doggie traveller and helicopter dog owners. Also close to Parliament House for a nice 10km run . Room service was also awesome and secure parking available.
