Great hotel, stayed here for one night to recharge while traveling around with a rooftop tent. I read some negative reviews regarding the restaurant, but personally I can only compliment the food as well as all staff. The prices in the restaurant are below most of the restaurants in Costa Rica outside of hotels, which seems unusual. Kids loved the pool. We were happy to get a suite all the way in the back, which felt like being in the middle of the jungle.

We enjoyed our stay at Bamboo River House so much that we decided to come back there to finish our 3 week trip in Costa Rica 8we stay 8 nights in total over two stayed)! When you arrive you feel like you are part of a small community where you say hello to your neighbours. Ryland is a great host, super nice, friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the big flats and it was super confortable and clean with all you need to cook yourself delicious meals. The terrace is lovely and the hamac is super comfortable. It is located on the river, 5 minutes by car from the centre of Dominical or 20 minutes walk. We will definitly be back!!

Terrific reception and attention to all details by both Anja the manageress and Wendy the housekeeper. Kind, helpful & always very polite. The bungalow was a delight to live in for 4 days at the end of November 2023! We spent lovely days down on the coast, and up at the waterfalls. A delightfully restful and perfect part of our two week vacation. Highly recommended!!

This beautiful home is nested in the jungle with sea views and is very close to the beach. The home is open-plan with all the facilities you need to make a comfortable stay. The hosts were more than accommodation; they had excellent communication and were super friendly! Cannot rate this place highly enough.
