We liked everything in this hotel. Starting from the vision and commitment of hotel owners and ending with the smallest details. All the people we met and services provided were really top notch. Summarazing the experience - good location, calming environment, very clean room, excellent breakfast, complimentary coffee/tea/fruits/sweets, fairy-tale'ish inner courtyard, silence.

From the moment I caught the old lift up to the 4th floor reception and was welcomed by the host Christine to the time we left, our stay was utter perfection. I was in a party which took four rooms, each with different arrival times but we all had the same magnificent experience. The beds, décor, showers, service were all faultless. We hadn't prepaid but decided to take breakfast, which was one of the nicest breakfasts I've eaten recently. I can not praise this highly enough.

    This was an amazingly large palace reconstructed after the war an.d the palace of Frederick the Great. It was interesting to visit and learned more about Frederick. It is easy to reach by S Bahn and bus.

    This is a must do activity if you have the time.

    This is a must do activity if you have the time. The price includes an audio guide which is especially useful for the older part of the palace. The gardens are beautiful but be wary of the fountain that rotates slightly spraying people if they stand close ! There is renovations going in outside ( July/August 23) which might cause some noise/ photo opportunity interference but we didn’t find it annoying.

    An absolute gem of the Baroque and so easy to get to from Berlin. Short train ride.When you get off the train IGNORE your google map! Simply head DOWNHILL - the palace is obvious and straight ahead, so do not turn off down Charlottenburg Strasse. Takes about 10 minute easy walk. Take time to see the gardens - delightful.
