Grab a table at the cafe outside the Adlon and just sit for a bit with a drink and a snack - or have a meal; the food is great. Read up on the history and pay attention to the lines of the Cold War era walls in this area. - There's a great photo just inside the Adlon entrance that has the disabled ramp to really help you see where the walls were with relation to the Gate.Guest review byAngelaUnited States

The hotel is close to public transport stations as Potsdamer Platz or Friedrichstrasse. The staff was very friendly, they were able to store the luggage after check-out and offered to post some postcards, as well. We aren't into shopping but love food and the sites so for us this was a great place. The Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel is absolutely incredible, If you go there you will need cash.
