Staying at the Duquesa de Cardona hotel is, in my opinion, the best way to experience Barcelona. It’s not just about the perfect location, which truly is ideal, but more so about the warmth of the staff who genuinely strive to make you feel welcome and go above and beyond expectations. It’s evident that this level of hospitality is ingrained in the culture of the place, not a coincidence. From the breakfast team to every employee, they made us feel like family. The truth is, I would normally stay at the W, but I believe that if you come to Barcelona, it’s for the spirit of the city, not for an Ibiza-like feeling. I must specifically mention some of the exceptional reception team members, Karim and Enrico, who are among the most outstanding people I have ever met. I will gladly return here… and importantly, unlike many other places where staff asked me to leave a review, this team didn’t even mention it. 👏👏👏

Located right opposite Barcelona Cathedral, this grand, neoclassic hotel is a 5-minute walk from Plaza Catalunya. It offers free WiFi, and some rooms have excellent views of the cathedral façade.

The room was great with a nice view. All facilities in the room was tip top!

There is a gym and a rooftop chill-out terrace with a swimming pool and wonderful city views. It is located 100 metres from Barcelona Cathedral, in the historic Gothic Quarter.

I had an amazing stay at hotel Catedral! The staff, the service is great! Beautiful lobby, and good restaurant, the atmosphere very cosy and warm! I truly recommend it!

The Catalonia Catedral is set in a traditional Modernist building, just 100 metres from Barcelona Cathedral.
