First class hotel and staff. The rooftop terrace alone is a scoop. Also the breakfast was fabulous. I told them it was my birthday during the stay, and they immediately responded by giving me and my wife a bottle of cava and birthdaycake in the room :-)

Sagrada Familia

A large Wari village, Pikillaqta was mysteriously abandoned in 1100 AD and soon after set ablaze. Despite ancient attempts at arson, the site is still wonderfully intact. You’ll wander the streets and plazas amongst temples, communal buildings, homes and storage structures – some of the buildings an impressive 4-storeys high!

I didn't expect it, but it's stunning, unfortunately tickets for the interior are sold out at least 14 days in advance, so plan your entrance to the interior right away, the cathedral has its own app

The English tour was great.

The English tour was great. You will be able to understand Anthony Gaudi and what he was thinking of during that time. His love for God and Nature and God's creation as seen in Sagrada. Take note if you are a Senior citizen do not take the towers tour. There are some areas which are not lighted and would be hard for a Senior citizen to do.

I am literally amazed by the idea and appearance of the cathedral. But so many screens in front of the cathedral itself, beach umbrellas and lack of access to the cathedral cortyard are disappointing !

Book this one in advance.

Book this one in advance. You cannot get in without a reservation. Direct booking on the official website is pretty easy.. Later in the afternoon 6.30 is a good time. The lights are brilliant through the stained glass. This is one of Gaudi sites worth every penny. Again just don't be late because I know some people who missed reservation were denied. Be prepared for airport style security. But it is quick with your times slot. Once inside you can use the free audiophile to be downloaded from Sagrada Familia website when reserving a slot. There will be crowds at times. However, you can take rest break sitting quietly in pews so the ladies with the flags and 50 people tour groups go away five minutes later. Lol

The church is excellent and very beautiful.

The church is excellent and very beautiful. But as the tower is in construction, is very difficult to see the view and to return from upstairs is by foot in difficult steps till the ground. I do not recomend going to the tower.

The location was perfect. Quiet and calm quarter. The apartment is on a walk distance from Sagrada Familia, Cassa Batllo, and other must to see places. Close to the location, there are a lot of stops of the public transport. The apartment was clean and equipped with all needed stuff. On the top of the building, there is a nice terrace where you may have a nice time with a good view.

The apartment is very spacious and located in a quiet area. A Mercadona supermarket as well as smaller grocery shops are just around the corner. The metro station is about a 5-minute walk away, and it’s roughly 15 minutes to the Sagrada Familia along a nice pedestrian street with plenty of shops and restaurants.

Location, location , location. Very close to Sagrada Familia. Supermarket next door. Plenty of restaurants on your door step. Hop on, hop off bus just around the corner . The apartment was spacious and comfortably fit our party of 7. The owner met us on site and allowed us to leave our luggage prior to check in. He was very friendly and whilst English is not his first language he managed to provide us with all relevant information about the apartment which we appreciated. The owners were in constant contact before and during our stay .

Lovely apartment with great view of the Sagrada Familia. Useful to have the lift as apartment was on the 4th floor. No kitchen facilities (ie. no sink, oven or counter top) but did have a kettle, toaster, coffee machine and microwave. Fine for a couple of days if you are mainly eating out but you wouldn't be able to cook there. Easy pick up of keys from nearby office

We stayed for one night in this lovely apartment and had a great experience. The place was nice, clean, safe, and very comfortable—perfect for a short stay. Its location near Sagrada Familia made it super convenient to explore Barcelona, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive vibe. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the city and looking for a cozy and well-located place to stay.

The apartment is well-located for the Sagrada Familia, being two blocks away (although those unfamiliar with Barcelona should know that the SF is not really all that close to anything else); it was for the most part clean, and it was well-appointed, with microwave, toaster, espresso machine and so on.

If you visit Goudi's Battlo house do so after doing the Barcelona tourist bus trip (buy tickets from the underground Information office (good english plus you can get Sagrada familia tickets for a timed entrance thus avoiding the queues) in Pl Catalunya next to El Corte Ingles){ same ticket can be used on red, blue and green routes although green is all but worthless} and along with ticket/s you get a discount booklet incl 3 Euro off the price of Battlo (21euro entry) which you can then spend on the audio/visual tablet which shows you the furniture which was in each room, desks, tables/chairs and altar etc which greatly enhances the understanding of this dragon house. It also shows where Goudi developed some of the ideas used in the Sagrada Familia. The opportunity to have your photo taken (10 euro photo or 13 euro photo + digital download ) from the highest sharks mouth balcony should be taken as it will probably be one of the few which includes everyone rather than excludes the one holding the camera.
