The hotel's set back from the road so is very quiet and with plenty of parking. The staff were all very welcoming. The room itself was very spacious with a comfy bed. It was close to the quaint shops of Bury St Edmunds and convenience stores. A short drive away were some of the interesting Tourist destinations and historical towns.
