The hotel was beautiful, there was a really comfy friendly atmosphere. The finishings were to the highest standard. The staff were so warm and lovely and made our stay extra special.

The room configuration that was promised on Booking.com wasn’t available but the hotel staff promptly remedied it with another solution. Beautifully handled. Also the staff recommended a wonderful Pub for dinner that involved a stunning walk through the village and across the lock. Excellent local suggestion that made our stay.

The Wellington suite. Spacious, comfortable, warm basement flat, with access to delightful garden. Twin beds. Kitchen adequately equipped. Good shower, separate from basin (quite small) and WC. Nice sitting room and dining area.
