We were there on our honeymoon. we loved the location, perfectly situated in the city. Tube is 2min walk. The staff really takes good care of you, the cleaning staff did an amazing job tidying our room. The attention to details exceed my expectationw. We got newspaper delivered on the door in the morning, every room had a doorbell, our room had a lovely selection of books to read, and the fridge was always filled with a selection of water and soft drink complimentary from the hotel. The room was very clean, the hotel smelled so nice. The rooftop terrace offers amazing view over the city. We loved that this was a small luxury hotel. truly a home away from home, never wanted to leave our room! We will be back for our anniversaries!

View was gorgeous and privacy shades a great addition. Loved the staff's consistent attention to detail in servicing the room and multiple times per day. The large bed was super comfortable as was the additional seating. The buffet breakfast was stellar.

Tate Modern

Mirkos is a coral paradise. Made up of a collection of sea mounds, it’s home to a beautiful garden of sea fans and soft coral. In between the mounds, you’ll find blue spotted ribbon-tailed rays and giant frogfish, and if you look closely, you might just spot a porcelain crab scuttling along among the sponges. And if you want to find Nemo, you could be in luck – clownfish frequent Mirkos.

    Great Cafe/restaurant on the roof.

Great Cafe/restaurant on the roof. However although the building is specacular, the art is in my opinion a bit up itself. Go to the original tate gallery /and/or the national gallery for the best art from all periods.

    Great day out.

Great day out. Free entry, wonderful exhibits and good coffee shops. You can then walk along the embankment and great views of the Thames and St Pauls. Can easily visit St Pauls Cathedral, short walk across the wibbly wobbly bridge.

They were about to close in an hour, but we were told that there were some FREE exhibitions on floors 3 and 4. We had a look... omg..... What a load of absolute rubbish. Something a four year old had done. Is that really art... or a mental disorder... 🤣🤣 Don`t bother with the FREE stuff. Can`t say what the other art that you had to pay for, would have been like... Who knows 🤔 but the FREE stuff was a load of old shite... 💩

Enter the turbine hall which is a vast open space showing the latest installation. The galleries are reached by lift and escalator, most of which are free. You need to book tickets for exhibitions such as Cezanne. Don’t try to see everything in one visit, concentrate on one or two rooms and you will discover plenty of diversity.
