This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending...
This is the main gate - just outside is the starting/ending point for many of the city's bus routes so it all happens here. The downside is that it is also very busy. You access the walls to walk around from this gate entrance (on you left as you come into the city)Guest review byJoanSouth Africa

If you have a stroller it’s very easy. However, since the apartment is a 2nd floor walk up it’s best that each person brings a single pc of luggage that they can easily carry up. The self checkin is something that all accommodations should consider. Location was just off the main street very close to Pile Gate, gelato, bakery, lots of restaurants, the entrance to the walls. Only stairs to climb was 1 flight to 1st floor apartment. Mostly quiet. Quiet and extremely comfortable. Easy access to local beach, restaurants etc. The fruit platter and Cherry Liquor (made by the host) were a bonus. Host greeted us on site and walked us through the apartment. Laundry facilities (communal) on the lower ground level of the apartment building were superb - clean and easy to use.
