IndonesiaI feel incredibly lucky to have discovered Hotel Cinze, a brand-new hotel nestled in the beautiful highlands of Batur, Kintamani. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful—far from any noise or distractions. The design of the pool area is aesthetic and calming, but what truly sets this hotel apart is its series of charming hot water jacuzzis. These jacuzzis are equipped with advanced temperature control technology, offering a variety of heat settings. I believe this might be one of the most unique hot spring experiences in Indonesia!
My room was located on the upper floor, where I was treated to not just one, but two breathtaking views. As I breathed in the crisp, fresh air of Kintamani, I could gaze directly at Lake Batur and three majestic mountains surrounding it: Mount Batur, Mount Agung, and Mount Abang.
The room itself was immaculate—well-furnished with high-quality amenities and modern interior touches. The highlight? Each room comes with a private jacuzzi located right in front of your doorstep, allowing you to unwind while still enjoying the stunning scenery.
Although the hotel is still undergoing development and expansion, the experience already feels complete. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything you need. Impressively, the owner is directly involved in overseeing the hotel operations and mentoring the staff, ensuring top-notch service for all guests.

Lovely area but very touristy and noisy with some venues in Songan blasting party music in the evening. Finding location away from the lake is advisable if you are not into parties and clubbing.
The temple at the lake, Pura Segara Ulun Danu Batur is worth a visit. If you bring and offering the priest will open the gates and you can enter it for a prayer.

Shame on local people. Shame on them. Plastic bags and caps in the lake. Lots of bamboo sticks so if you want to swimm you can be literally killed.
What an amazing, beautiful nature being treated so badly by locals.

Sunrise and sunset view of Mount & Lake Batur from the balcony were awesome! Located in quiet place, the villa has a complete set amenities - more than I expected; from toothbrush, shower gel, shampoo, set of towels, tea and coffee, water cooker, a small fridge, slippers even a drying rack. The villa has beautiful and really spacious bedrooms, couches, smart tv, strong wifi, dining table and the most important: everywhere is clean. They also provided room services with foods delivered from their own restaurant.

Bobocabin Kintamani is nicely located, facing Lake Batur and close to popular spots like Toya Devasya and Batur Hot Spring. We had a BBQ during our stay, and the beef was delicious, included the breakfast also tasty. They provided water drink refill as well in the pantry, good one.

I love the vibe and style of the property. Stunning views of Mt. Batur and Lake Batur (when the clouds clear). We stayed just one night to do the Sunrise hike on Mt. Batur and it was prime location. Only 20 mins to the drop off point from hotel. Staff was very accommodating and welcoming. Overall was very practical for what we needed.

Located at the foot of Mount Batur that enables you to trek directly up to the volcano to see the amazing sunrise. The property also has a beautiful garden and a direct view of Lake Batur from the back balcony. They also have a small hot spring pool that you can access at your convenience. The staff is very friendly and reachable at anytime. The room itself minus the bathroom is fine.

The property was pretty, quiet and had a decent view of the Lake Batur. If you are looking for a quieter getaway, away from city life in a village, this home stay is good for that secluded experience. It’s not a hotel, it’s a home stay.
I also really loved the bougainvillea at the main entrance. The only reason to go back to the hotel is the majestic bougainvillea spread

Black Lava was adequate for our needs but it didn't stand out compared with similar places we have stayed at in Indonesia. The natural hot water pool was great, but the view over Lake Batur was just average. I did like the old motorcycle theme, but these are an add-on, not part of the main experience.
