My recent stay at this charming hotel, run by two sisters, was an absolute delight. Everything about my stay here was excellent! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and had a few vegan options, the property was well-kept and beautiful, and every detail of the place seems intentional. It's in a quiet area but easily accessible to many shops, restaurants, and easy beach access. I will definitely be coming back here when I visit Uluwatu again.

The hotel was amazing! Everything was clean and really beautiful. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. It was so sweet and helpful and did not only helped with organizational things but always made sure that you are satisfied. The shuttle service of the hotel was also a very nice add on, which made the stay even better. The breakfast was also really good and you could choose out of three options. We would always come back here!!!

Unfortunately, the beach was a disappointment.

Unfortunately, the beach was a disappointment. There was so much garbage in the water that we could not even stand in shallow water without something hitting our legs. The food vendors are great but the monkeys stealing food, small bags, and anything small you may leave on your blanket is even more disappointing. I would highly recommend going to another beach in Uluwatu.

Everything about Amara was incredible! The friendly staff were amazing, the rooms were spotlessly clean and the pool was beautiful!! Great location, walking distance to Padang Padang beach as well as many fabulous restaurants, shopping and bars. Great restaurants as close as across the street. Also had 24hr security which is a nice piece of mind for a smaller boutique style villa. Included breakfast was also delicious!

I really liked the location, it was very central in Uluwatu and very close to Padang Padang Beach. It was also close to many cafés and restaurants, which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was beautiful and warm, and the room was nice. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel also had scooters available for rent, which made getting around much easier.

I stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed my time. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good with several options to choose from. The staff at the reception were very polite and friendly. The location is great — not far from Melasti and Padang Padang beaches, and I rented a bike to explore the area. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to two other beaches. Everything was nice, I truly recommend this place. 🌿

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. So friendly and helpful, they would go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. The room was a good size and cleaned twice a day. Bed was comfortable as well. We were left daily surprises, which was cute from the staff. The breakfast was great with a lot of options. The hotel is in a good location about 5 mins walk from padang padang beach. I would stay here again.
