Ever-growing excavations, very knowledgeable tour guides.

Ever-growing excavations, very knowledgeable tour guides. Pre-decide if you want to do the wet-walk, then bring clothes appropriate for that. Determine if you want to commit to walking back up via the roman drain system, if so, leave plenty of time.

The location is perfect. Close to City of David. Downstairs restaurants, shops etc so very easy to get around. Train/Tram line is walk able. Fresh towels was provided. The rooms are cleaned every second day which I liked because you can have a day to sleep in. Bed, especially pillows was super comfortable. You are in the hub of the old city so expect noise levels, but that didn't bother me.

The Petra was handy and of course, easy to find, being right near the Jaffa Gate and the City of David. Reception and arrival experience were a little quirky although more than friendly.
