Once you go inside the hotel you have entered paradise. Nowadays it is easy to find very nice hotels that belong to luxury chains but finding a 100% professional service is very difficult, however in this hotel you will find excellence in service, the old school in hospitality where customer service is totally personalized. I do really enjoy my stay here.

Ratan Vilas is not just a hotel – to call it that would be unfair. It is truly an oasis. Being here felt like stepping into a dream straight out of One Thousand and One Nights. Everything is so thoughtfully created, from the beautiful pool with its magical evening lighting to the musician who came every night to play traditional music. The staff are simply fantastic, always there to help with anything you need, making you feel genuinely cared for. Evenings in the garden, enjoying a delicious dinner, were unforgettable. The kitchen is excellent, offering meals full of flavor and authenticity. Housekeeping is also something truly exceptional – our room was spotless every single day. We also appreciated the quick and inexpensive laundry service. Breakfast was a delight, with options ranging from Western classics to traditional Indian dishes. We even extended our stay because it was such a wonderful place to relax, thanks to the beautiful surroundings and the amazing team. Ratan Vilas is not just a place to stay – it is an experience that stays with you.

Daspan House was a little oasis in Jodhpur. Such a beautiful property with friendly staff (in particular the people we met at the reception). Only 10 mins away from the major attractions we truly enjoyed being the serene atmosphere that was away from the city center bustle. Our stay was lovely and I’ll definitely be back.

Great location for exploring the old city. Excellent food, local cuisine, and exceptional service from the staff in all venues. Our room had a beautiful view of the fort, and the roof top restaurants and bars were terrific. The hotel organized a guide for us, and we had a wonderful tour of the city.

Don't MISS it. I like it greatly.

Don't MISS it. I like it greatly. The exhibits here are of different design, being mostly imported from UK when the Bhawan was constructed. Then Vintage car section with the display of old vintage cars used by the Kings is an added bonus. The Bhawan architecture has European influence, though not so intricate like other forts and havelis, it is a good sight with imposing views.
