Great location, great value for money, kind and welcoming staff. You couldn’t ask for more if you want in the heart of the city. Breakfast was plentiful, with eggs cooked fresh to order. We booked this hotel before hiring a car and thought that this might prove to be a problem. It was not the case. Although driving in Amman takes some getting used to, the hotel is easy to find and they have use of a private parking lot just a couple of minutes walk away - drop your bags at the hotel and they’ll show you the location - parking was 5 JOD per 24hrs as of Sep 25. There is also a multi-story parking lot right next to the hotel as an option but this is 1 JOD per hour so can add up.

The room was pretty comfortable and well-maintained even though it was small. The location is in the middle of the bustling, somewhat loud, shopping area and close to all the main attractions in the city. But what made this a great stay was the staff. They were extremely friendly and welcoming and went out of their way for any requests.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, right in downtown near the citadel and the souq. It was very comfortable and they offered a good breakfast. I would definitely recommend it.

Very Friendly and helpful staff at the reception, clean rooms and good breakfast. They were kind enough to provide us with packed breakfast at 5 AM as we had to catch an early flight. It is slightly away from the old city for walking due to steep climbs but only few minutes by taxi.

Breakfast very good, location only a few minutes walk from the start of rainbow street (I recommend walking this way to go downtown), staff are fantastic and the hotel is very comfortable. The hotel is very peaceful, we did not hear any noise. Great view of the city from the roof terrace.

    Its small...if u have Jordan Pass, you might want to visit for an hour or less. But except the view, nothing special. I might be wrong, since we first visited Petra and Petra is....awesomly phenomenal...anything after Petra is not that interesting

    Beware the noon day heat!

    Beware the noon day heat! Made the mistake of visiting on a sunny day and found it is overwhelmingly outdoors. Great to visit early in the day, or in the winter months. Otherwise, like everywhere in Jordan, bring plenty of water for the summer months.

    The location of the hotel is right in the centre of Amman,it is exactly opposite of the Roman theatre and Amman citadel is 5 minutes walk. Hotel manager Marwan is very friendly and Caring towards guests he also arranged incursions and ziarah tours we went to " salat" where prophet Shoaib, ayub and yusha bin noon AS shrines were, also visited mazar Al karak where hazrat jaffer bin abi talib and Abdullah bin rawah RA shrines are. It is also very competitive and good value for money.

    The Merryland is well located, it’s clean the rooms are spacious and comfortable excellent value for money. The Amman citadel Roman theatre & King Abdullah Mosque are all within walking distance. The hotel organised an excellent driver to take us to Jerash, the restaurant he recommended was excellent. Good eateries also within 10 minutes walk

    Staff were very friendly and very accommodating to changes in travel plans. Located close to shops and restaurants and walking/cheap Uber distance to Amman Citadel, Rainbow St and Roman theatre. Great value for money. Only downside is that rooms/bathrooms were not cleaned daily.

    Excellent location, about 20 minutes walk to downtown Amman. Then you can walk to the Amman Citadel and the Roman Theatre. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a lot of options including freshly made tasty omelette. My room was clean and spacious. Had everything I needed. The lobby is very spacious and bright with a beautiful decore and lots of comfortable seatings.
