Hotels near Appi Kogen Ski Resort, Hachimantai

Nat and the staff were friendly and really helpful. We stayed in the quad share Japanese Tatami room and it was clean, comfortable and enough room for the 4 of us. The futons were comfortable to sleep on. It had a beautiful view out the window of the trees and snow. The shared bathroom was very clean and functional. The location is great being only a few minutes drive to Appi Kogen ski resort and the onsen. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others!

Nice friendly staff. Always very helpful. The food was great: excellent variety and delicious 😋 Rooms with air conditioning and beds were very comfortable 😌 Would recommend staying here. Shuttle bus to Appi Kogen ski resort was great (only around 800 metres). Some choose to walk to warm up. After midday, there were free shuttle buses returning from the resort every 30 minutes that stopped at House Appi diagonally across the road.

We are repeat visitors and look forward to our stays at Pension Mutti as much as we look forward to skiing at the wonderful Appi Kogen ski resort. The owner goes out of her way to ensure we are happy. The highlight for us is the food, which is delicious and plentiful. We also enjoy soaking in the pretty outdoor bath after a hard day of skiing.

Host was very friendly and more than helpful with everything. The house was in a great location just minutes from appi kogen ski resort. Facilities were good for an old place like this.
