Arrived after very long trip from Europe, tired. Beautiful room. Good to rest. Comfortable beds & pillows. Nice bathroom. I always ask for higher floor & my room was beautiful with a sea & park view. Perfect for me & my first visit to Kobe. The staff everywhere were so nice & helpful. Appreciated the hotel shuttle bus from Sannomiya Station: when I first arrived from the airport ITM with an Airport Limousine Bus & again during my stay in Kobe. Breakfast buffet is splendid & also can get a good espresso coffee. I like Japanese Breakfast! Had one dinner at the Chinese Restaurant: very good. Beautifully presented. Lot of food. I arrived hungry & left very full! I inquired about the swimming pool, but ultimately did not have time to use it this visit. Hopefully next time. (Extra cost to use the swimming pool/sauna)

    Very satisfied with the spacious, clean, and cool room with panoramic views, and I was able to experience the traditional Japanese living culture around this hotel located in the center of Kobe. In particular, I experienced the true scale of life and new perspectives of JR Kobe Station, Kobe Port, Kobe Harbor Land, which are 5 minutes away from JR Hyogo Station in front of the hotel, and toured Kobe Port for 90 minutes on Kobe Resort Cruise.

    To be frank, I felt this was one fo the worst hotels I stayed at during my month long travels through Japan. To its credit, the rooms were large and quite roomy, the buffet was decent in the morning, and the staff were very nice. There is a free "loop shuttle" from the shin-kobe station to the hotel (though not to the Kobe Airport which is a pain if you want to take the Bay Shuttle to KIX). It's a short walk from Chinatown though, which makes up for much.

    I was hesitant about choosing Kobe instead of Kyoto, Osaka, or Nara, but this hotel proved top-notch by location without breaking the bank. It's a 5 minute walk from the main Kobe station, and getting to anywhere in Kansai takes an hour tops. It's also within two minutes of two convenience stores and a is across from a MASSIVE Don Quijote discount grocery/goods store (make sure to get the 2L of water for ¥75!) MASSIVE and high-end shower/tub too.

    It is very close to Kobe station and a 15min walk to Harborland, Kobe pier, the earthquake memorial, Meriken park and Umie. From there, it is also a 20-25min walk to Chinatown. If you are planning to go to Himeji after, it is very convenient as the direct train departs from this station. Breakfast was simple, but surprisingly good for such a budget hotel.

    The hotel is very much a standard Japanese "business" hotel - small, but totally fine. The room was very clean and everything was comfortable. It's also super convenient to the Kobe Station - you can access it from the basement level via elevator or walking out the hotel door into the station entrance. All in all, this is a solid option for Kobe.

I will definitely stay here when I go back to Japan Location - less than 250 meters away from Kobe Station Staff - friendly, accommodating, patient Room - clean, the towels and pajamas get replaced everyday, with free bottled water Amenities - coin laundry (you can even see on the tv which ones are occupied), vending machine, ice machine, microwave
