Hotels near Lake Tanuki, Fujinomiya

The location is quiet and by the lake Tanuki, surrounded by forests. We really enjoy the tranquility, the nature walks, the sky full of stars, and most of all the unblocked view of Mt Fuji. All these complete with onsen baths and yummy meals they provide. We will definitely go back again.

Definitely a place to stay if you want to see Mt Fuji and its reflection on Lake Tanuki. There is a direct bus from Tokyo station and/or Mishima Station to the hotel, but with only a taxi option from Mt. Fuji station on Lake Kawaguchiko. Food is excellent, service is impeccable, and the onsen is to 'die for.'

Daisuke and Daruma were very sweet hosts, who helped us with everything we needed. Our room vas spacious, comfortable, clean and had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, which was great enough but on top of that Daisuke offered to drive all the guests to lake Tanuki see Mt. Fuji exactly at sunrise. Magical!
