Hotels near Uchumi Supermarket (Mombasa Road), Nairobi

I stayed over for a few hours in between flights.

I had dinner and breakfast, both meals were superb. The staff was super nice and helpful. As a guest I enjoyed using the gym that was well equipped and the pool.

The room and the staff were amazing. There is a walkway through the car park downstairs to get to the mall so it’s literally a 2 minute walk. Security is amazing everytime you go back to the hotel they’re even checking the Ubers you’re in and opening the boot makes you feel really safe although the neighbourhood is not dangerous. Housekeeping is amazing and they always provide plenty of water. James and the rest of reception are always friendly and willing to help. Pool is super clean and HUGE during my stay there I saw it cleaned everyday. Although smoking is not allowed from balcony and has to be down at the pool I didn’t mind this as I got to admire the facilities. Great place for a great price I cannot wait to come back and stay there.

Palacina Hotel is a wonderful place, very beautifully furnished, in a lush garden! The room was spacious and bright, very comfortable, clean with everything you need. Breakfast and the restaurant are very good, the staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
