Hotels near Plain of Jars: Site 1, Phonsavan

Very nice and charismatic host who is keen on organizing tours and further transport. I loved the bonfire that the family lights every evening inside of an old bomb shell. Great atmosfere all around. Nice private rooms with fans, mosquito nets, bathrooms etc. Very calm place. I loved it.

The hostel facilities is great, the bathrooms and showers were clean and the bedrooms aswell. I was able to check in very early in the morning because my bus arrived early. I also rented a motorbike nextdoor and booked my transportation to Siem Reap which was very easy and convinent. There is tea, water, coffee and bananas available in the lobby which was also nice. My room had a stunning view of the temple across the street and if you are awake early in the morning you can see some monks from the balcony in the middle of the Alms giving ceremony.

Nice hotel, clean, confortable, friendly management, very good service.

We really enjoyed the hillside residence. It is a very quiet place. The bedroom was comfortable and super clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Good breakfast and the best laundry service in Laos!
