Amazing host, they do everything to mave you feel at home. Clean rooms, beds are very comfortable. Don't forget to order the chicken noodles, it's delicious! You can enjoy it with the beer you get as a welcome package. No need to arrange tuktuk or taxi, the transportation to the airport is included!

Wonderfull property. Super friendly staff. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were amazing and beyond expectations. This was the most beautiful place we stayed during our 3 week traveling in Sri Lanka. We wished we could have stayed longer at Hiru Lagoon, but unfortunately the holiday was over.

All. Location, people, stuff. Very friendly. We asked to pick us up from airport, driver was friendly, showed where to buy sim cards (not in the airport where is expensive prices), etc. Room clean and nice. Breakfast tasty.

A special thank you to Danushka for giving us the best start to our Sri Lanka trip. Everything is possible and doable here, and you are truly well taken care of! The air conditioning worked perfectly, we slept wonderfully (loved that we had a duner), and the bathroom had hot water. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and the garden was both lovely and relaxing.

Wonderful trip to see a variety of Indigenous bird & other...

Wonderful trip to see a variety of Indigenous bird & other wildlife. It’s an early start & worth setting the alarm to be collected from your accommodation & arrive early in the cooler part of the day. Our 2 guides were very friendly & proud of their lagoon; keen to impart their knowledge of the ecosystem and names of each bird, reptile & mammal spotted. I was sad to see some plastic waste in places whuc the guide assured us would be taken care of. Wondered whether instead of motorised boats, there could be a call for a more environmentally & quieter boat with a paddle instead of a 2 stroke engine. I suppose the wide distance needed to be covered to view the different variety of wildlife would be difficult to achieve in the 2 hours time allocated for the trip. Thank you for a great trip.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay for our first 2 nights. It's set in a quiet back street not far from negombo lagoon and fish markets with a nice garden. Renuka made us feel at home and was a wonderful host. She helped us get tuk tuks, drivers, plan our itinerary, fed us a yummy breakfast and more.

Perfect place to start/end your Sri Lanka trip. It is only a 15 minute drive from the airport. The room is huge, well equipped, bed is very comfortable. The owner is very kind and helpful, he packed us takeaway breakfast which was perfect before our early flight. The place is only 3 minute away from Negombo Lagoon, perfect to watch the sunset, and 5 minutes from a big supermarket where you can find everything :)
