Everything, the attitude, reception, checking in, breakfast, the junior sweet, the location in genius in the middle of Everything and in the same time quite and comfortable inside.the staff are client focused. Excursion arranged by hotel was reasonablely priced a safe and comfortable means of transportation. The driver , Mr. Mohamed , was splendid . He was a very helpful one. We really asked for him by name to explore the country and go to two nearby places .He was a very pleasant , understanding, and cooperative driver.He drives slowly and safely , we enjoyed the way . I do advise everyone for this driver . In the end it was an exceptional stay

from the minute we stepped from the bustling street and into the oasis that was the hotel , we were struck by its stunning decor and architecture. We were greeted warmly and served peppermint tea whilst we waited to check in.There is a calm elegance and luxury everywhere one looks. Even the corridors we passed along on the way to our room were a feast for the eyes - carved wooden ceilings and panelling, luscious kilim carpets and intricate filigree light fittings everywhere. The room itself was spectacular- a super king bed with crisp white linens and as many pillows as we wanted. the bathroom was spacious and the shower always hot and very powerful. I loved the abundance of cosmetic products provided by the hotel, refreshed twice daily.There was a little sitting room area in our room by the tall windows that overlooked the central courtyard garden and swimming pool , perfect for planning our days’s excursions. There were so many lovely nooks, reading rooms, restaurants, a rooftop pool and bar, poolside snacks and drinks and a beautiful cocktail bar in the evening to relax whilst a skilled piano player tinkled the keys of the piano. The hotels food was delicious and amongst the best we had on out trip. We had breakfast there every morning and ate traditional Moroccan dinner there on one of our evenings and were entertained by a Bellydancer! I can’t thank the staff enough for their friendly, warmth and discreet approach to too tired travellers needing to relax and recover from a hard years work.

The breakfast options were amazing — there’s something for everyone. The fruit was exceptionally fresh including the daily juices and the coffee was to die for. The food itself was prepared with great excellency and served in a beautiful manner. Excellent excellent value for money. The hotel is situated in the midst of the city with lots of bars, cafes, fast food places, restaurants and shisha bars within walking-distance. Food is inexpensive and absolutely delicious. Staff were super friendly at the hotel and made us feel so welcomed. The beds are so comfortable and the showers were to die for. The hotel also has a hammam spa on premises which was an exceptional experience! We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel!

    Avoid food stall 65. Complete scam. They charged us over £100 for 4 simple meals and take you away to an intimidating man to make the payment. The bill bears no resemblance to the menu prices. They seem to charge per item. Absolute fraudsters. I’d stick to the restaurants. Cafe Zaitoun was brilliant.

    Best time to visit for us was at night - full of musicians sitting amidst small groups enjoying singing and music. nice atmosphere, seemed to be all about locals just enjoying their evening with friends listening to music,eating and playing some traditional fairground style games. We didn't see any snake charmers or monkeys on chains which was good and why we avoided Djemma El Fna during the day.

    Daytime for snake-charmers, monkeys etc (general advice is not to encourage as animals are not treated well), nighttime for street food, music, games of chance. Famous for pick-pockets but none of pur group of 9 had any problems in multiple visits.

    So cool and such an experience.

    So cool and such an experience. We stayed right outside in within the Medina. Don't partake in the snake charmers or the monkey handlers most of it is a scam. Lastly watch out for Mopeds and other forms of transportation they move fast.

    a must when you're there - I would think it would be quite impossible to miss this when you visit marrakech, but just incase - don’t! Eat dinner there one night - every place is basically the same, I suggest going somewhere that a lot of people are since that typically indicates that it will be at least decent.

    My favorite square!

    My favorite square! Happening place in late afternoon to midnight with bustling vendors and snake entertainment. Don’t take pic of snake or you will be asked to pay. Nice rooftop restaurants to enjoy the view.

    The staff were exceptional and were very accommodating, informative and friendly. The Riad itself is very, very pretty and reflects the quality of the online images. The walk into Djemaa El Fna is quite straightforward and takes about 20 mins walk. The location is good for drop offs and pick ups (excursions etc) because it’s close to the gate at Bab Aylan. The Riad is set in a busy area of the medina where people go about their business without hassling you. Local people were polite.
