Recently updated bathroom, beautiful, comfortable bedrooms, great living room and kitchen. We could hear the ocean from the house and loved the walk along the beach to a fun restaurant (the Pour House) for dinner, and a cute coffee place for take away bread set and amazing coffee.

This is one of those drop-everything most beautiful places...
This is one of those drop-everything most beautiful places on earth. up there with Venice and Lake Como. We drove from Auckland and our room not quite ready, so we set off, caught the shuttle bus/minivan thingy, and walked to the Cove and back. There are no facilities to change into togs, but we brought a large towel that did the job of a 'changing tent'. We also had drinks and snacks in the backpack.
We saw a few people trying to dart through the gap and dodge the waves, but the tide was coming in (!) and one man bumped his head on the rock! So... either get wet, or bump your head?
The next morning, we joined a small group of 4 kayaks (booked this months ago) and paddled from Hahai Beach to Cathedral Cove. It was superb to see it from both angles; first walk, then sea.

We took the Cave Cruzer fun ride at Whitianga and visited Cathedral Cove. The ride was so fun and thanks Brian for showing and explaining to us all caves and blow hole visits around the coastal of Whitianga to Hahei.

WE went there to enjoy the beauty of the area, Unfortunately the weather was horrendous and it was impossible to get anywhere near there, there are very few facilities in the area and the few shops were just not open

A perfect location with amazing views over Hahei and it's closeness to the start of the track to Cathedral Cove. Perfect to set out before sunrise to visit the cove. Very comfortable with the necessities for a few nights stay.

I loved staying in this beautiful English cottage with garden in Hahei. Walking distance to restaurants and the Cathedral Cove walk, also came with a shovel for Hot Water Beach.

Comfortable room with porch, and quick access to Hahei Beach. Part of a larger resort with camping, we were there on a weekend and there were lots of families, big crowd in the central area around the bar and food service areas created a fun environment. Beach towels provided. A little walk out of town and a few mile walk to Cathedral Cove.

Close to everything that you need– Beach, food, dive and snorkel shop, liquor store, tennis courts right out the back door, lovely sunrises, shovels provided for hot water beach, walking distance to Cathedral Cove, Hahei Beach, Pa Mt… New Lovely studio with everything that you need.

The hosts were great. We really enjoyed meeting them and they were generous with their (very good) advice about local restaurants etc. The property is spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved staying at Cathedral Cove Apartment.

Wonder little spot so close to everything in Hahei, easy walking distance to the market/restaurants, the beach, and the shuttle to Cathedral Cove. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and one of the most well appointed kitchenettes we’ve ever stayed in, with quality cooking items. Lovely decor, fun bright colors.

The accommodation was right in the center of Hahei, and not too far from Whitianga, Cathedral Cove and all the beaches! We loved how it was also surrounded by nature and in a very peaceful spot. Not forgetting the hot tub, which was amazing as well!

This was the perfect place to stay for a solo traveler in Coromandel. Great location next to cafes and a brewery. Easy to get to cathedral cove. Lots of interesting places within the walking distance. Clean and friendly hostel. I had a private room so I can’t speak to the bunks.

Close to Hahei beach (a less than 10 minutes walk), a beautiful beach from where you can visit Cathedral Cove (for now only accessible by boat or kayak). It is also close to Hot Water Beach.
This is the right place if you are looking for a quiet spot, with friendly staff and having the town restaurant at your doorstep.

Nice, roomy 2 bedrooms apartment annex. Clean, comfortable, bright. Kitchen facility adequate. Hosts Pam and Bill were lovely decent people. Friendly, helpful. Bill drove us to the entrance of Cathedral Cove walk. On the way back from Cathedral Cove walk we took a nice trail to Hahei beach then to the apartment. Thoroughly enjoy our time here
