The hotel is amazing. Brand new with an excellent breakfast. Rooms are big and modern. The atmosphere in general is cozy and it makes feel at home. The guys at breakfast are extremely kind. I would like to thank them for the surprise for my birthday. Just few meters outside the hotel there is a bus stop. With bus 403 is possible to reach the Ribeira in a short time. What I appreciated less was the lady at reception. I booked the transfer from airport to the hotel but there was no driver waiting for us. No problem to get to the hotel by taxi (it’s even cheaper) but the lady didn’t even apologise. She even doubted that I booked the transfer (though messages saved confirmed my booking). I would definitely stay again at Oca Oriental

New, modern, super clean, very helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money, not in the historical area but everything is within the walking distance. Would definitely come back again and recommend to friends.

Breakfast was good, if a little poor on choice. More than enough to get started though, and the convenience of having it delivered to the room (as well as the wide range of times available to have it delivered) vastly outweighed any shortcomings of the breakfast itself.

Location excellent. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, smartly dressed and kind, especially Ines and Anna, Restaurant staff!
