It sounds a cliche but this hotel is a gem. You would not expect to have a real heaven behind the front doors you won't even notice. The hotel was in a quiet location but within minutes walk of the River Douro and all its facilities, restaurants, entertainment, and with lots of things to see and do. We found it a relaxing haven to get away from the crowds. Tea and coffee- making facilities were provided in our room, which was quite spacious. There was an excellent choice for breakfast to suit all tastes. Above all we found all the staff to be very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We stayed there on two separate occasions both before and after our river cruise and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I loved the rooms and the aesthetic of the hotel ! The staff were kind, accommodating and they helped me fix part of my itinerary (very easy and fun to talk to) I liked that they also had food, snacks and drinks available for guests. The location was perfect as well!
