If I could give this hotel an 11 that is what I would do! The check-in experience was amazing. Maruko was quite simply the most impressive hotel clerk I have ever met. She provided us with very helpful advice for our trip, and did everything in such a cheerful and effective way that one could not help but to be impressed. She even left us with a lovely, hand-written card at the end (complete with very cute pictures which she drew). I may frame this card :) After staying previously at a hotel in Taipei which did not meet our expectations, it was such a joy to stay at the CityInn. Everything was done just in the right way. It was clean, restful and smart. They kept our luggage for us as we travelled around which made a huge difference. Obvously I would stay here again - indeed I don't think there is anywhere else I would even think about staying in Taipei.

The hotel is very spacious. It’s built with beautiful architecture. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were kind, polite and helpful. Always when they see us with a smile they greet. This was our second stay at the hotel and it exceeded our expectations. From the responsive communications before our arrival, to the well-appointed, clean rooms and all the friendly and helpful staff we came in contact with, the whole experience was unforgettable and we look forward to returning. We found the beds and pillows incredibly comfortable to sleep on. The location is a short commute from the more lively suburbs/CBD, which suited us as we preferred staying in a slightly quieter area.

True to the reviews, we stayed here 3 nights and were very happy with our choice. Baby friendly , good location with 24/7 mart right opposite and a night market right behind. Good service with very helpful staff . Good choices for breakfast even for vegetarians. Clean and spacious rooms with everything from washing machine to baby's sterilizer. Strongly recommended for families with kids especially!
