Hotels near Syuhai Hot Spring, Checheng

I stayed at Mudanwan Villa in January 2023. I was absolutely delighted by the experience. The resort was breathtakingly beautiful, the staff extremely kind and helpful, and the food exquisite. This may be the most beautiful and tranquil resort in Taiwan, and has a unique tropical atmosphere not able to be found at other high end resorts. The hot springs in particular were quite exceptional. You could strongly feel the high mineral content in the water, and the theraputic quality on the skin. The villa I stayed at was well appointed with both indoor and outdoor springs, which were a pleasure to use, especially in the ambient tropical garden outside. The architectural standard and design of the villa was also extremely beautiful - a rare combination of classical Japanese and Aboriginal Taiwanese elements with chic contemporary style. I was also very lucky to have the incredibly kind support of the staff, who went above and beyond their duties to assist with our wellbeing and comfort. I could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay.

The place was really quiet and serene. the pebble houses are very spacious, especially the bathroom. Having breakfast in the open dining area with seabreeze overlooking the well trimmed lawn is such a relaxing treat!

Nice Hotel, rooms are clean and tidy, suitable for family stay. Local style dinner provide.

Property was just ok. Good to have an hot spring bath in every room. Hot spring was the main purpose of our stay so it was pretty good, both public and private in room.

Their spring is the best one I have ever used. That maybe they don’t dilute the liquid. You could see and enjoy the moon light at the outdoor spring.
