Midweek the crowds are fewer and you get to enjoy the park. Very glad to see that they are no longer allowing buskers to have amplifiers... a little quieter. The location is great for Balboa Park, little Italy and the harbor area. It was great to have a full kitchen and the bathroom had everything you could need. There is a lovely farmers market on Saturdays just outside the front door and there are many restaurants within a few blocks. We were cancelled on at a different property while driving to San Diego for an 8 day stay! It is close to everything tourists need to do downtown and Balboa Park. I loved the gated entry which helped us feel much safer along with the guaranteed parking spot. This place was essential for our family to have an affordable vacation.
