This was our second stay at The Wallace and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in NYC. Beautiful boutique hotel in the quiet Upper West Side, close to Central Park and easy subway access. The addition of the Wallace Lounge , an atmospheric bar and lounge with live jazz most nights and lovely bar food is great.

We could walk 30 minutes or less in any direction and on route see wonderful sites (museums, parks, Broadway shows, Lincoln Center, etc.) and enjoy great restaurants. The room was adequate, clean and with a comfortable bed. The furniture seemed a bit scrappy, but we decided that we'd ignore that because we felt the price was fair. The breakfast was very good and we specifically were only going to choose a hotel which offered a free breakfast that was more than 'continental.'

A very nice room in a very well-maintained hotel. The location was ideal for a Met. Opera performance at Lincoln Center.

The location is a few blocks from Columbus Circle where busses and subways can be caught. The neighborhood is relatively safe. There are many restaurants and entertainments nearby. Lincoln Center is a block away. The safe in 949 worked well.

The front desk and bell staff were warm and accommodating on our arrival. Our flight landed before our room was ready, so they took care of our bags and gave us the freedom to enjoy our time without lugging them around. The location is great for access to Lincoln Center and Central Park. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is in such a great location—right next-door to Lincoln Center and some great restaurants. It’s within easy walking distance of Broadway shows, but it’s not caught up in all the craziness. I also love the fact that Central Park is so close by. It was fun to see how well loved and well used that park is. The energy is truly beautiful.
