Go see it up close!
Go see it up close! You can really see how tall it is and why the monument was considered the tallest building when it was first built. Didn't get to go inside, but you can sit around it (on grass or benches) and just admire the entire area. Especially on a sunny day, it is just so beautiful. Go during the day and go back during the night when it is lit up. Such a different experience - both are great!Guest review byBeauxjoursUnited States

They had a live band playing Saturday night - that was awesome! I liked the hallway decor, and the room was adorable! I loved the funkiness of it. I had a GREAT view of the Washington Monument - I loved keeping my curtains open night/day so I could enjoy the view. It was a great room, I had an excellent stay.
