We spent six nights in this stylish hotel at the end of March 2025 and were very satisfied with our stay. Just 5 minutes' walk from the old town, this hotel offers an ideal starting point for visits to this area of Hanoi. Due to an early flight, we arrived at the hotel in the morning, but after a short first walk through old town we were able to check in at 11:00 am without extra charge, although the official check-in was 3:00 pm. Great service! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the room was very comfortable and well equipped. The AC works very well and is really quiet. The breakfast buffet is excellent, there is a large selection of international and national dishes. We were also very satisfied with the staff - from the front desk, to the bar, up to the breakfast area - always friendly and service-oriented. Our special thanks go to Mr. Tung Do, who greeted us every day with a smile and gave us good tips on how to spend the day.

Big, nice apartment on 6th floor with view over roofs, very quiet street, city center at walking distance. Very good breakfast with big choice at hotel at 50 m distance, which was no problem.

    Also known as Maison Centrale or the Hanoi Hilton during the...

    Also known as Maison Centrale or the Hanoi Hilton during the Vietnam war. A good place to get a view of how the Vietnamese struggled with the French occupation and the Vietnam war. As a Westerner you only learned the Western view of history. There is an English audio guide but there are sufficient English signs with explanations too.

    This is a can't miss.

    This is a can't miss. Really shows the horrors of Colonialism and tells the stories of the people who were prisoners. Also does a great job acknowledging the American POW's and the importance of reconciliation. I did not get the audio tour but I really should have.
