They staff were great - they really look after you. They usually don’t cater for lunch however made an exception for us by making delicious sandwiches. The hotel itself is modern and stylish with an industrial theme associated with the mining history of the area.

After a one night cruise on Halong Bay, I wanted to stay and enjoy the view of the islands longer rather than heading straight back to Hanoi, so we booked this hotel for one night. We booked a 'Queen room with a sea view', and the view was EPIC. The rooms on floors 16 to 18 have floor to ceiling curved windows. We knew it would be good, but the view was still staggering. We had one window like this in the bedroom, and another one in the bathroom, so we each had a bath with the best view ever. I also booked this hotel because of the beach. There were a few friendly people giving swimming lessons to little children with lifeguards, but otherwise it was very quiet and easy for swimming. The room was big and immaculate, and staff were always clean to help. Overall, the facilities were grander than I expected. There is also a cool cafe and bar round the corner, called Da Bong (football).

The staff were so welcoming and always happy to help and accomodate our every need. From the moment we walked in they were very accomodating with everything. Would highly recommend the accomodation is central with lots on offer. The rooms weee very clean and the rooftop bar was amazjng perfect place to end the day with a cold drink music filtered in the background and a pleasant atmosphere

Mr. Chilly and his staff were really helpfull. I wonder why there are no pictures of the rooms, because they are nice. We chose this instead of a cruise, and we didnt regred it one bit. We have three children, and instead of worrying about them on a ship, we took the oneday cruise that is offered at the frontdisk including kajak, swimming and visiting a fishfarm on the water. All in all we really can recommend this place for families as well as adults on their own.

The room and the facilities are really nice, modern and clean. The staff very helpful. There bike can be rented and are in Ok condition, but for me it worked well and was comfortable to do a 20 km route around. The location is convenient to go to Tran An boat tour even by foot.
