Absolutely beautiful location and villa. I’ve stayed in a lot of villas in Sri Lanka and this is hands down the best. We had transport problems and the host and owner were so understanding and accommodating. One of the best weekends of our lives, would 10000% recommend to anyone.

It was my second time to Nethsara cottage. It is a lovely place. Its looked much better in real that on the booking pictures and you will get much more that you pay for it. The food its delicious and always so big portion ;) you can not finish the whole portion. The lady who its running this place its super nice. First time I reached the location by a small car and second time by tuk tuk :) if you are looking for a quiet place with nice view close to the main Ellas street thats the right place. Very recommended.

Best stay ever!! Everything was amazing!! The extremely caring host, the comfortable great room, bed, lighting, amazing view to the train tracks and lush nature. We immediately felt like part of the family. Devaka has been showing us around his beautiful garden. He is generous, warm -hearted- a very great person! He got deep into our hearts. He brings the word "homestay" to another level- never have we felt so at home in such short time!! We got a tea from his own garden every day as well! The food is home cooked and of course also very delicious. It is the best authentic caring beautiful homestay ever in Sri Lanka

We loved out stay at Arawe, it was one of the most pleasant stays in Sri Lanka. The bungalow was beautifully decorated, it’s located near the forest and tea plantations and it’s within walking distance from the city center. The breakfast was excellent. Our daughter loved to play with the friendly dogs and cat, we saw a lot of birds and even fireflies at night.

Amazing location - not in the noisy centre, but easily accessible by tuktuk in few minutes, ideal location to walk to Little Adams peak or Nine arch bridge (especially for sunrise). Friendly family, interesting cooking class, amazing view from the terrace. And so many cute squirrels! Thanks again :)
