Absolutely beautiful location and villa. I’ve stayed in a lot of villas in Sri Lanka and this is hands down the best. We had transport problems and the host and owner were so understanding and accommodating. One of the best weekends of our lives, would 10000% recommend to anyone.

Had a wonderful stay here! The location is beautiful, you see the Nine Arches Bridge from the room! The room was clean and nice :) The family was so nice and kind to us, and here I had the best coconut rotti with dhal curry (homemade). Eat here don’t go outside ahaha

It was my second time to Nethsara cottage. It is a lovely place. Its looked much better in real that on the booking pictures and you will get much more that you pay for it. The food its delicious and always so big portion ;) you can not finish the whole portion. The lady who its running this place its super nice. First time I reached the location by a small car and second time by tuk tuk :) if you are looking for a quiet place with nice view close to the main Ellas street thats the right place. Very recommended.

Best stay ever!! Everything was amazing!! The extremely caring host, the comfortable great room, bed, lighting, amazing view to the train tracks and lush nature. We immediately felt like part of the family. Devaka has been showing us around his beautiful garden. He is generous, warm -hearted- a very great person! He got deep into our hearts. He brings the word "homestay" to another level- never have we felt so at home in such short time!! We got a tea from his own garden every day as well! The food is home cooked and of course also very delicious. It is the best authentic caring beautiful homestay ever in Sri Lanka

I don’t have enough good words to describe this place. We left with a heavy heart this morning, that’s how much we loved it. The bungalows are crafted with such love, attention to details and taste. It is surreal to be so close to Ella Main Street yet having your own nature haven. The place is so peaceful, you will feel completely disconnected from real life and be in your own bubble. The food is excellent, prepared in front of you at breakfast in your own little outside kitchen. They even have a little local crafts shop where you can buy macramé items made by local women they are supporting. I absolutely cannot wait to go back again, and this place has definitely been the highlight of our trip. Thank you so much for everything!

The views from our balcony were stunning, the sunrise and mountains are breathtaking. The staff are super friendly and helpful, they even prepared an early breakfast for us as we had to check out earlier than usual (my daughter loved the sandwiches they have prepared). Am not sure how does the other rooms look like but try to book the room where the bed is up stairs and has a balcony and a jacuzzi.
