Excellent room, service, hospitality, cuisine, and location. Excellent garden and pool area. You can even observe fireflies at night. The owner organised the safari trip for us, and breakfast was prepared in the morning for the expedition. One of the nicest accommodations in Sri Lanka.

The place is really well located close to the gate of the Yala sanctuary. It was very clean and comfortable. The management communicated with us very well before the beginning of our stay. On site staff were very proffessional and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, the bbq was amazing. You wake up to the song of million birds and perhaps get to see some peafowl near the pool. The place has such a relaxing atmosphere that we would go back in a hearbeat.

The room was very clean and big, with AC. Near to Yala national park. Very quiet at night, with a nice atmosphere and good options to have dinner by walk. The host, Malinga, was very kind: ready to counsel us and take us to great places. He offers a taxi service, so is a good option to go there from your previous location or go with him to your next destination in your trip.

I had an incredible experience at Jungle Haven Retreat! The setting deep in the Sri Lankan jungle is absolutely breathtaking. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and made us feel right at home. The houses were cozy and beautifully nestled in nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of the most unforgettable moments was the amazing dinner we had on the rock, with a fire burning beside us under the open sky—it was truly magical and unlike anything I've experienced before. The traditional Sri Lankan meals were another highlight—so flavorful and made with love. Amazing wild, raw experience. Whole family loved it. Breakfasts were good, very tasty... I think piece of bread only would taste good there. It's so minimalistic you really feel like you don't need much to be happy. Very friendly owners. Highly recommend!
