I would consider just buying a ticket to Costa Rica to spend a week here and enjoy total peace and relaxation. Our room was big, with a huge balcony that had two chairs and a hammock. The view is amazing. The place feels so safe that you can sleep with the big windows fully open and be woken up by the horses eating grass outside your window. The WiFi worked great. The shower was huge and with water flowing very well. The location is a big farm so you can even go walk and see dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, chickens, anything. They have a swimming pool and a hot tub that you can use anytime you want. They also offer paid laundry service and they have a restaurant. Breakfast was also included and it was great. The hosts and waiters are all really kind and accommodating. Each room has a private parking spot right outside the room. I mean, I could go on for days about how great this place is. My girlfriend and I almost cried when we had to leave. This place is just so great. Do yourself a favor: if you have a car, avoid staying in La Fortuna and stay here. You'll love it.

We loved everything about our time here, such a special place, run by a very special couple who are passionate about the environment. Clearly they have worked hard for 10 years to restore the habitat and in doing so they've attracted mary species of birds and animals. This is a very special place. To add to our enjoyment their home cooked food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here if you enjoy the local environment , they have guided walks and this very much adds to the experience

A patio with garden views is offered in every unit. this view is probably the best you can get, no other words than just breathtaking this is a million-dollar view for a good fair price. which when you are traveling with a family is great we had an amazing time, even when the volcano was in the clouds,the house was comfy to hang around in.

Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge & Wildlife Refuge has an on-site restaurant serving local dishes and regional cuisine. Arenal Oasis Ecolodge is an absolute delight! It truly is an oasis. We stayed in a triple bungalow. It was minimal but spacious. Very clean and comfortable. Towel sculptures every morning! The food was fantastic. Best way to start every day is with their traditional breakfast. Don’t forget the Lizano salsa! Our favourite dinner was the sea bass. Everything was plentiful and fresh. The service was outstanding, especially Jerold at reception as well as Valerie and Alan in the restaurant who got to know us day one. Peter, one of the younger brothers/owner was also very friendly and kind. The property is exceptional. Wild and natural but also maintained. The trails are easy and beautiful. The butterfly dome was an unexpected treat. Nature is a bound here! Birdwatching by day, frog watching by night, and monkey watching at dawn and dusk!

A microwave and stovetop are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. The location and décor were incredible. Host was incredibly responsive when we had questions. Poll and hot tub and ice maker was a hit. One of the nicest rentals I have stayed at.
