Rainbow Valley Lodge is located located in Monteverde Costa Rica, in the mountains of Monteverde. It offers lush gardens and rooms with free WiFi and fantastic mountain views. The location is phenomenal. Staff was great and attentive.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The attention to detail in the glamping setup was exceptional—everything was beautifully arranged, clean, and cozy, creating the perfect balance between luxury and nature. One of the highlights was the fantastic dinner—delicious, well-prepared. It truly brought the whole experience together. Whether it was the comfortable accommodations, the peaceful surroundings, or the thoughtful hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable getaway with an outstanding host who takes care of every little detail, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!

It was totally lovely. I would definitely stay there again. Everything was clean and in great condition. Beautiful view from on high of the ocean. The workout equipment was nice too since we had a lot of rain while we were there.

We loved our staying at Little Escape and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Mike has done a great job with lofts, the design is really beautiful and modern. The open space is perfect for having dinner and relaxing watching TV. Loved the upstairs too, from the balcony you have the jungle vibe. The pool is also a nice feature, for those lazy days. Mike is super friendly, he will help you in any way he can and he know well the area either for surf spots, cafes or restaurants.

If I ever go back to Costa Rica I would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice view of the mountains, which we enjoyed from our terrace with a hammock, and we cooked on the gas stove. It was so peaceful. My biggest fear was sleeping without air conditioning, but we slept well. The beds are comfortable, and the fan and fresh air were sufficient for good sleep.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Something deeper in the jungle yet close to Uvita and the coast. Just the peace and quiet and closeness to Nature I needed. And the cabin has no glass windows, just screens, so you can hear the music of the jungle very clearly. Nights were spectacular. I loved falling asleep to the symphony of the the surrounding wilderness and waking up to the sounds of roosters and howler monkeys (: The property has access to a river and mini waterfall which was very tranquil and serene. The drive to the cabin was a fun little adventure in itself and 4x4 is recommended. The hill that leads down to the cabin is ultra steep but you have the option to park atop the hill and walk down which is a short jaunt. The host, Wouter, was amazingly attentive, personable, and chill. He would always respond to my questions/ messages quickly. You could not ask for a better host. I can recommend Loft del Rio with total confidence and rate it a perfect 10. If you are looking to experience an immersive jungle experience that is also close to the coast, this is it.

We loved the beautiful forest surroundings around our treehouse! Although we knew there were other treehouses close by, giving us a sense of security, our view from our treehouse itself was total jungle, giving us a private jungle vibe with no other treehouses or buildings within view of us. It was such a cool experience! We were lucky to have 2 sunny mornings so we woke up slowly, lying in bed, enjoying the dappled sunlight peaking through our jungle view from the vast windows. I loved Monteverde and hope to go back and when I do, I'll stay here again!

The room is superb, the pictures don't do it justice. Very cozy, amazing sunset view, clean. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a stocked fridge with items for sale. We also had dinner and breakfast here, both were superb. In the afternoon we arrived, we had the pool all to ourselves. Its quite private with stunning views. Our goal was to relax here, as the rest of our trip was quite adventure packed with lots of hiking, and this place was perfect for that. Our 2 year old also really enjoyed staying here. They even provided a cot for here and there was a lot to discover, both in the pool area and in the room.
