The location was also perfect about a 5 min tuk tuk from the centre of Marissa which was perfect as it was far less chaotic in this location.

The owners and staff are so kind. The tour of Sinharaja park that she arranged for us was great as well. Food is mostly homemade vegetarian curries, but they have a small menu and will make you other food if you ask. Such a peaceful place to recharge and just spend time in a beautiful, serene location.

(important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

The hosts are super nice and helpful. Several bungalows are hidden in green, vast area so you feel isolated from other guests. The pool is great :). Breakfasts are diversified, so every day you can try different meal. Walking distance, 3 min., to Midigama center. We will most ceirtainly come back!

Very kind hosts, great food, and the rainforest tour was super well-organized. We had many lovely conversations, and they showed us a lot. We were truly very happy there. The room was lovely, a good size and very clean. The bathroom was modern and spotless. There was a shared kitchen which had all the basic cooking utensils. Breakfast was delicious and varied day to day, including a hot breakfast and fruits. The lodge is across the road from a very nice swimming bay and is also a short distance from surf spots and trendy cafes. Excellent hosts. Good value for money.
