All you need to do is arrive and he will advice and assist you with all of your plans from taxis to tours. We arrived at 2pm and were able to join the 4.30pm sunset tour on the very first day. All of the main tours are easily organised by Emmanuel and some of these pick you up by boat from the property. Food was fantastic. Villa was very clean and comfortable and right on the Tambopata river. We loved our time at Sunrise of Tambopata!

Some units include a balcony and/or a patio. The food including breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. The guides at the property are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Nothing is too much for the staff and they will help you in any way they can. The lodge is great for bird watching, the many excursions on offer are really worth doing, the Lake Sandoval was our favourite.

Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Rooms are comfortable with electricity 3 times per day. Bathrooms are shared and provide an eco-friendly toiletries kit. Fantastic location to experience the Amazonian forest in a safe environment. Let’s be clear: keeping such a hotel working in a national park demands lots of logistics (they’re not even allowed to do laundry on site , everything linen and food is transported on boats and then by hand!). Their team works like crazy to keep this experience great and they can be proud. Of course it’s not a traditional 5* and the insect experience could be rough to some but you can’t imagine anything better in such a remote location. Truly a memorable experience, knowledgeable and welcoming guides. This is one trip we’ll always remember.

Altogether the best experience we could have had in the Amazon. Not cheap but this was a once in a lifetime experience and worth every penny. Slept better here than ever before.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Such a beautiful property - really close to the town but far enough out that you really feel like you’re in the jungle. The staff were so kind and friendly and the included activities were awesome! I loved everything about it, even my little frog friend who joined me in the shower.

The lodge offers an outdoor pool. The hotel was amazing - we had great food, amazing tours (which the hotel booked for us) and a great 5km walk around the property. The pool was clean and the hotel rooms were well maintained. Would definitely stay again!

The rooms and bungalows provide rustic comfort, with dark wood floors and furniture. Each comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries, and forest or oxbow lake views. There is also a fan. The hotel is very well run and beautiful. I know it’s not truly in the real jungle but it gave us a good taste of it with a nice level of comfort. They planned the excursions for us and timed it very well. We didn’t feel rush or exhausted. All the guides were very knowledgeable and spotted many wildlife during our excursions. We saw capybaras, caymans, river otters, many types of birds and red howler monkeys!! The food was also amazing, three courses every meal! Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and professionally! It was an amazing experience!

The bungalows at Tambopata River feature twin beds and a hammock. They are surrounded by a pure, green environment and have panoramic river views. There is electricity 24/7 and cellphone signal. I really loved this stay, being in the middle of the jungle and experiencing all of that was amazing 🤩
