If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings. The room was spacious, the bed was ridiculously comfortable and it was dead silent at night so naturally deep sleep ensued and I woke up refreshed! I didn’t eat the breakfast so I am unable to comment but the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Only 7-8 mins drive to charming downtown Nevada City and a little further is Grass Valley.

Guests at Forest Lodge can enjoy hiking nearby, or make the most of the garden. We actually got upgraded to the sister property of the Forest Lodge, Lamp Lighter Inn. Beautiful room, fireplace, jet soaking tub, huge room. Very close to the ocean.

Offering granite counters and additional granite counters with bar stools, a full and spacious kitchen is also provided in the two or three-bedroom villas at Hyatt Vacation Club at Northstar Lodge. A fireplace in the seating area and a glass enclosed shower in the en suite bathroom are also provided. The location, the rooms are very big and spacious :)

Great area in the middle of the forest. They even have a sunset place, awesome cabins for entertainment (inside and outside) and a cosy restaurant and bar. Car park included, good wifi and a general store with affordable prices with most of the things you could need. Also coffee available in your room. We even extended for one more night

Located in the coastal community of Cardiff by the Sea, Cardiff By The Sea Lodge features a rooftop terrace with views of the Pacific Ocean. All rooms have a private entrance and soundproofing. Cardiff State Beach is 5 minutes’ walk away. This a wonderful Hotel; a real gem! I was mesmerized by the special and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. The beds are extremely comfortable - one of the best beds I have had in a Hotel. The staff is exceptional - accommodating, helpful, professional and so friendly! The breakfast is small but good - a tasty fresh juice, coffee and muffins. There is a sundeck at the top of the Hotel with a fantastic view; a great place to hang out and enjoy the sunset. The location is perfect - it is just some steps away from a nice beach and from good seafood restaurants. The Hotel offers towels, beach-chairs and umbrellas for free - an excellent service so that we could enjoy two days at the beach. I highly recommend staying at the Cardiff by the Sea Lodge!
