It was a spur of the moment take off and stay somewhere for a night for my wife’s birthday. The owners were very nice and left a birthday card and a bottle of wine. The cabin was clean and cozy. Not one thing bad I could say. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay. Thanks so much Nantahala Cabins!

Beautiful View!! Mrs. Melissa was amazing. She helped us with everything we asked about. We had great conversation with her and the other lady that helps her with the resort. We left early Saturday to hit Pigeon Forge and she had us a Togo breakfast waiting on us. We could not have asked for a better stay 10/10 recommend Long View.

The staff was the best I have ever encountered in all my travels!! They were friendly and so helpful to me as I was traveling with my sister for cancer treatment. She has marked mobility issues. The staff helped in every way possible.The shuttle service was such a help in navigating the congested area. When we return, I will be staying at The Lodge!

The Lodge has a great feel to it. As soon as we entered the lobby/living area, we asked if we could stay another night, and that was before the breakfast the next morning! The simple, pine-paneled rooms in the guest wing were offset with good bed linens, big towels and other amenities, including rocking chairs on the porch, where we spent time waiting for the rain to slow down. We definitely plan to come back!

I loved staying at The Longleaf! A modern Travelodge with a retro feel. I have passed by the hotel many times on visits to Raleigh and finally had the opportunity to stay. The location and price can’t be beat. And I have to mention the lounge. It was crowded on a Monday with locals and the drinks were outstanding. Especially liked the convenient access to my car. A lot of thought went into the renovation.

I felt comfortable being a solo woman. I came and left with no problems. The area was comfortable and close to everything. Not all econo lodges have a microwave and fridge. Having them in my room did give me more security, knowing I did not have to leave my room after dark for food.
